Last Week was Farm Week here at Beth Shalom! We had so much fun playing with plastic farm animals and learning the sounds they make, making a craft of a chick hatching out of an egg, creating barns, and reading a lot of stories about animals! We also learned a lot about Shavuot. We made plaster Mount Sainai, Paper Bowl Mount Sanai, and learned all about the Ten Commandments and Moses.
Morah Elaine did Shavuot Science with us this week and brought in a cow! We “milked the cow” and then made our own butter! We learned about different animals in Hebrew, and also had one final Hebrew lesson with Morah Yearit. Morah Marina taught us songs and dances about the Torah.
